Calvary FC stands in leaders Kitara FC path in the Big League encounter at Midigo Ground.

The Horizons will hope to cause an upset to the Royals who will seek to stretch their lead at the summit.

Kitara FC who are three points clear at the top of the log will fancy their chances against a seven-placed side.

Sam Simbwa will be eager for the double over their counterparts after a 3-0 triumph in the reverse fixture in the first round at the Kigaaya playground.

However, Calvary FC ejected Kitara FC from the Uganda Cup last week from the shootouts after a one-all draw in normal time.

They have picked just two wins on the road against Lugazi FC and NEC, two defeats and six draws.

Coming into this game, Kitara FC were 2-0 winners over Kataka at the Kigaaya playground courtesy of Derrick Byabachwezi and George Ssenkaba strikes.

With 43 points after 21 matches, Kitara FC lead the log with 12 wins, 7 draws and two defeats having scored 40 goals and conceded 12 times.

Dudu Bosco’s side will eye a league revenge against the leaders despite getting rid of them in the domestic cup.

The Horizons succumbed to a 4-1 defeat to Mbarara City at Kakyeka Stadium in their last outing.

They will hope to bounce back and will bank on the home advantage to pick a positive result.

They have picked 23 points at the Midigo Ground in 10 matches.

The Horizons only loss at home came at the opening match of the season against NEC.

They are unbeaten at home in the last nine matches, picking seven wins and two draws.

Calvary FC are 7th on the log with 30 points in 21 matches having registered 9 wins, three draws and nine loses. They have scored 29 goals and conceeded 35 times.

In the reverse fixture, Patrick Kaddu had a brace and John Kisaakye was also on target to inspire Kitara FC to a 3-0 home victory against Calvary at the Kigaaya playground.
