Luweero United will be seeking for back to back wins when they visit struggling side Kataka FC at the Mbale stadium in the FUFA Big League.
The Luweero-based side picked a vital 2-0 win over NEC FC at home last week on Thursday at the Kasana grounds.
That win, their seventh in the season, saw Luweero United move out of the relegation zone and are now in the 11th position.
And on Thursday, they visit a struggling Kataka side that is currently in the red zone and will be seeking to bank on that to get the job done.
Luweero United are not yet safe and another win will see them brighten their chances of moving out of the relegation dog fight this season.
Meanwhile, the hosts Kataka FC will be seeking to end their winless run when they welcome Luweero United on Thursday.
The Mbale-based club have endured a poor run of results as they are yet to taste any victory in their past seven league games.
They have lost five, drawn two and their latest game was a 2-0 defeat against leaders Kitara away from home.
Currently, Kataka are third from the bottom with only 22 points from 21 games, summing up how poor they have been this season.
And the clock is now ticking for them and there must be a reaction starting with thursday’s game against Luweero United if they are to save their season.
