Uganda Premier league sides have learnt their Quarterfinal opponents after the Stanbic Uganda Cup draws were held at FUFA house in Mengo.
Vipers have been handed a home draw against Fufa Big League side Calvary while KCCA have been given UPL side Bright Stars on the road.
The Venoms have been somehow lucky on three occasions, ejecting three sides on penalties to reach this far.
And the latest was a 4-3 win on penalties over Wakiso Giants, in what was Alex Isabirye’s first game in charge.
For KCCA FC, they beat Mbarara City 2-1 to reach this stage while Bright Stars eased past kiyinda Boys to storm the quarter finals.
Elsewhere, defending champions Bul FC have been given Big League side Police FC.
To reach this far, BUL beat Onduparaka 1-0 at the round of 16 while Police dumped out Ndejje University to reach this far.
It’s been confirmed that all the games will be single-legged ties and extra time then penalties will be applied in case the game ends in a draw at normal time.
It is strong to note that this year’s final will be held at the Aki bua stadium in Arua for the first time in recent times.
