Wakiso Giants forward Frank Ssebuufu has joined USA based side New York Red Bulls II it is official.
These new developments were made official by on Monday via the club’s official website.
“Wakiso Giants and New York Red Bulls II have reached an agreement on the transfer of Frank Ssebuufu to the United States of America club, reads a statement from Wakiso Giants.
Upon his departure, the club CEO Sula Kamoga praised the lanky forward for his great performances at the club.
As a club, we are happy with the contribution Ssebuufu has made during his stay with us and wish him nothing but success as he continues to grow his career.
“The memories he leaves us with will not fade as he provided many match-winning contributions, and for that we thank Ssebuufu enormously.”
Ssebuufu leaves the club after three years ever since joining them back in January 2021 from Lungujja Galaxy.
Before his move to Wakiso Giants, Ssebuufu made his name known in the Masaza Cup competition while at Buddu Ssaza.
And recently, he was part of the Chan team and started most of the games under Cranes head coach Militun Micho.
At New York Red Bulls II, he joins former Uganda Cranes captain Ibrahim Ssekagya, who is now the head coach at the club.
He is also the latest player to join Red Bulls after Steven Sserwadda, who is now at the senior team New York Red Bulls.
