Express FC and Gaddafi played out a goalless draw in a league game held at Kakindu stadium on Sunday.

The two sides, throughout the entire game failed to find a breakthrough and hence settled for a point each.

The draw leaves Express without a win ever since the start of the second round of the league. They have picked only two draws, lost two and remain 11th on the log.

For Gaddafi, it was another consecutive draw at home Infront of their home fans.

After a goalless first half at Kakindu, Express returned back the better side as they searched for an opener.

Anwaru Ntege and Boban Zirintuusa came close but were all denied by goalkeeper Chrispus Kusiima on various occasions.

And Kusiima, given his outstanding performances on the day was named man of the match after the game.

On the other side, Gaddafi’s Yunus Sibira and Frank Mulimi were wasteful Infront of goal.

The pair of Joel Madondo and Brian Kalumba were silenced throughout by the Express backline before they were taken off in the second half.

Express now stay 11th on the log and have picked only 19 points from 18 games. And they will need to double their efforts if they are to save themselves from the relagation dog fight.

For Gaddafi, they moved to 23 points after 17 games but also remained in the 9th position.
