Promotion hopefuls Police FC will hope to return to winning ways as they travel away to Relegation threatened Ndejje University at the Arena of Visions in the FUFA Big League.
Angelo Lonyesi’s charges dropped two points in the previous game which was a blow in their quest for promotion to the Uganda Premier League.
They were held to a one-all draw by Kyetume at the Nakisunga Ssaza ground.
Against Ndejje University Lions, anything less than a win will deter the Cops chances of achieving qualification and it might drop them outside the promotion places.
After 20 matches, Police FC sit second on the log with 38 points after collecting 10 wins, eight draws and two defeats – The side has scored 24 goals and conceded a lowly 11 goals.
The former Uganda Premier League champions are just two points below leaders Kitara FC and just a point ahead of Third placed Mbarara City and fourth placed NEC FC on 37 points each.
For Ndejje University, they have to play every game like a final in order to avoid relegation with just ten matches to the end of the season.
The Lions have struggled this season after a mixed results that sees them fighting for survival.
Having hosted the first round matches at Bombo Barracks Ground, Komakech Raymond’s side returned to their backyard at the Arena of Visions and they will hope the home advantage will motivate them.
They have hosted two games since their return, defeated Kataka FC and a one-all draw with Lugazi FC.
With 23 points in 20 matches, Ndejje University are 11th on the log with six wins, five draws and nine defeat having scored 26 goals and conceeded a joint league high 34 times alongside Soroti City and Adjumani TC.
Coming into this game, Ndejje University lost 3-0 away to Calvary FC at Midigo Ground.
Now, they face another hard task but this time they will bank on the home support to steer them to victory.
In the reverse fixture, they played out a one all draw at Kavumba Recreation Ground in November.
