Denis Kalanzi scored a late equaliser for Police FC to force a one-all draw with Ndejje University in the FUFA Big League game played at the Arena of Visions.
Brian Obedi had given Ndejje University the lead at the stroke of halftime.
It’s a second draw in a row for the Visitors but they will be happier with a point considering that they were heading for a defeat.
Angelo Lonyesi’s charges keep their promotion chances alive but they are just two points above third placed Mbarara City who have a game in hand and fourth placed NEC who lost to Luweero United
Ndejje University on the other side will be disappointed with the draw and the heart breaking goal at the dead.
Komakech Raymond’s side remain unbeaten since returning to the Arena of Visions but are just a point from the drop zone.
Obedi broke the deadlock in the 43rd minute to give Ndejje University the lead.
The score was intact until 96th minute when Kalanzi restored parity for the visitors to the disappointment of the hosts who were on verge of a win.
Ndejje University drop to 12th on the log with 24 points after 21 matches while Police FC remain Second with 39 points.
