NEC FC will be seeking to return to winning ways when they visit relegation threatened Luweero United on Thursday at the Luweero grounds.
The Bugolobi based club suffered a shocking 1-0 defeat to current leaders Kitara FC at their own last week on Thursday.
That loss saw them drop to the fourth position and it was a big blow in their quest to keep in the race.
Back on the road, there will be no room for error as they seek to keep in title race.
They are not far from the top seat as they are on 37 points in the fourth, three below leaders Kitara.
In Luweero United, they face a side that is battling with relagation and have endured start in the second.
They will call upon their Captain fantastic Marvin Kavuma and some of the experienced players in the team like Geoffrey Sserunkuma to be at their best if they are to pick up a needed result away from home.
On the other hand, the hosts, Luweero United will be targeting to end their winless streak when they welcome NEC at home.
Luweero have suffered three consecutive losses and they are currently in the red zone.
First they lost 4-2 to Booma FC, beaten 1-0 by Jinja North United at their home before suffering a 3-0 defeat to Lugazi FC in the last game last week away from home.
Their latest loss to Lugazi saw them drop to the 13th position in the relagation zone and are just on 22 points collected from 20 games.
They welcome NEC FC, a side that has bigger ambitions of Keeping their qualification hopes alive .
And a big test awaits Luweero United and they will need to double their efforts as they seek to save their season as well.
