UCU Lady Cardinals will be seeking to return to winning ways when they welcome depleted side She Corporate at UCU grounds in Mukono on Saturday on FUFA Women Super League.
The Cardinals suffered a 3-2 loss to bottom side Asubo Gafford last weekend.
That loss saw them drop to the fourth position and remained on 17 points after 12 games.
Back home, there will be no room for error as they seek to finish in a better position this season.
They welcome a She Corporate side, that has struggled since the start and will be seeking to add on their misery.
The Cardinals will call upon Ashiat Nalugwa, who has been their shinning star this season to be at her best so as to get the needed points on Saturday.
Meanwhile, the visitors, She Corporate will have the same ambitions of returning to winning ways when they take a visit to Mukono.
The Sharks suffered a 2-0 loss to Uganda Martyrs at their own home in nakawa last week on Saturday.
It’s been a terrible time for She Corporate, who are the defending champions.
Currently, they are on 14 points in the sixth position after 12 games and are just two points above safety.
Making matters worse, they lost some key players including Phionah Nabumba to Denmark, Naume Nagadya and Joanita Ainembabazi are said to have crossed to Tanzania for greener pastures.
They take another tricky trip to UCU, a side that will be seeking to bounce back and finish in a better place this season.
And with a few games to end the season, She Corporate will need to double their efforts, starting with Saturday’s game if they are to save their season.
