The National Basketball League will tip-off on Friday, March 17, The-SportsNation can reliably report.
The season was initially set to start on March 10 but that wasn’t possible because of the unavailability of host venue Lugogo Indoor Arena.
Then, FUBA was told by NCS that the Indoor Arena was set to undergo refurbishment between March 10 to 12th.
With the new developments, Clubs have reportedly been told of the new dates (March 17) while the Lower Division will get underway the following day.
The postponement was a a blessing in disguise for most clubs given that some had not started training at the time.
And currently, most Clubs are yet to finalize with their rosters.
The Fixtures are expected to be released in the due course.
