Fortebet Real Star Sports Awards continued to reward excellence after giving out six accolades.
The awarding ceremony on Tuesday, was held at Jude Colour Solutions showroom at Prime Complex in Kampala.
The recipients included Jannon Otto in basketball category who was outstanding as Gazelles finished second at Zone V Championship.

Otto, who plies her trade in Luxembourg, had her accolade collected by Gazelles team manager Vicky Ntale.
She beat teammates Maria Najjuma and Brenda Ekone.
Jacob Kiplimo beat Joshua Cheptegei and Doreen Chesang to the best Athlete of the concluded Month.
Kiplimo was deservedly named the best after winning the the World Cross Country Championship in Bathurst, Australia.

KOBs player Pius Ogena is the best of Rugby in February, edging teammate Karim Arinaitwe and Aaron Ofoyrwoth of Heathens.
Ogena was man of the match against Buffaloes and has scored a couple of tries to help KOBs storm at the summit.
Fadilah Shamika who recently became the first Ugandan to win gold at All-African Senior championship in Women’s singles that were played in South Africa despite being a junior, was awarded the best of February in Badminton category.

Fadilah also won three bronze (Women’s Singles, Doubles, Mixed Doubles) in the Uganda Junior International Challenge 2023.
She beat fellow nominees Husna Kobugabe and Brian Kasirye.
Attacking midfielder Rogers Mugisha took home best of February in March after his heroics with Uganda Hippos at AFCON U20.

He was notably man of the match against Central African Republic.
He takes the award ahead of Titus Ssematimba and Patrico Katumba.
Yassin Nasser and his navigator Ali Katumba, were voter best rally crew in February.
The duo won the first round of the NRC (Mbarara Festival Rally) and takes the award ahead of Ronald Ssebuguzi and Duncan Mubiru.
