Moroccan giants Raja Casablanca are the first team to qualify for the Quarterfinals of the ongoing CAF Champions League.
The Green Eagles extended their 100% start run with a 3-1 win over Horoya on Tuesday.
And the victory sent Raja to 12 points after four games, an unprecedented tally in Group C and are through to Quarters with two games to spare.
Walid Sabbar scored a brace and Mohamed Nahir added the other goal for Raja who completed a double over Horoya and had earlier beaten Vipers and Simba.
Papa Ndiaye brought one back for Horoya, the first goal Raja has conceded in the tournament (scored 13), but damage had already been caused.
Both sides finished a man down – Horoya’s goalkeeper Moussa Camara was sent off before half an hour when he handled the ball from outside while Raja had Jamal Harkass sent off after his foul on Paye Camara when he was the last man.
The match was held at the Stade du 26 Mars in Bamako (Mali) because Guinea has no stadium approved by CAF to host Champions League games.
Raja will visit Vipers in two weeks time before welcoming Simba in Casablanca.
And they will fancy their chances to have a deep run in this tournament after they were stopped at the Quarterfinals last season by Al Ahly.
They have won the CAF Champions League three times – 1989, 1997 and 1999.
