Salim Kisilu Back in NBL

Kenyan forward Salim Kisilu has joined KCCA Panthers, making a return to the National Basketball League.

Kisilu last played for Power in NBL back in 2021 before the season was suspended due to Covid-19.

He left and signed for Burundian side Dynamo before switching sides to New Star last year.

The former Ndejje University Angels player has reportedly signed for KCCA and was part of the team that featured at the UCU Invitational tournament.

Back in 2021 at Power, he averaged 14 points and 9 rebounds and will be a good addition for coach Brian Wathum.

Former Charging Rhino guard Abel Omongin who last played for City Oilers and Aaron Ojo are the other new signings at KCCA.

The Panthers were swept by Namuwongo Blazers at the Quarterfinals during last season’s playoffs and will seek to go an extra mile this season.
