Last season’s NBL runners-up JKL Lady Dolphins have added three players ahead of the new season.

The three are UCU Lady Canons Small forward Agatha Kamwada, KCCA Leopards duo of Leticia Awor and Becky Longom.

The trio were part of the Gazelles provisional squad for the recent Zone Five Championship at Lugogo, with Awor making the final squad.

Awor averaged 7 points and 4 rebounds last season for KCCA and it her has been a big rise for the former St Mary’s SS Kitende Student who also played for Makerere Sparks.

Kamwada was instrumental last season with UCU, helping the Mukono side dethrone JKL to win the League.

The three were part of the JKL side that played at the UCU Invitational tournament over the weekend.

And if they retain stars from last season including Flavia Oketcho, Brenda Ekone, Hope Akello, Rita Imanishimwe and Evelyn Nakiyinji, JKL will back themselves to win the league for a third time.
