Anukani Among Absentees As Vipers Leave For Simba Clash

Vipers are without creative midfielder Bright Anukani as the club leave on Monday morning for their CAF Champions League match with Tanzanian side Simba SC.

The Venoms have confirmed that Anukani has missed the trip due to Malaria and has not trained with the team this concluded week.

It’s a huge blow for Vipers who are yet to win a game on the Continent.

They lost to Simba in their third group game that was played at Kitende, with defender Henock Ibanga Baka scoring the only goal under floodlights.

Murushid Juuko who also missed the club’s defeat against Simba, is not available as he continue to nurse an ankle injury.

Marvin Joseph Youngman and Dissan Galiwango are the other absentees.

Karim Ndugwa is cup tied while captain Milton Karisa is still injured despite making the trip.
