AFCON U20: Two Hippos Players In Group Stage Best XI

Two Uganda Hippos players have been named in the group stage Best XI of the ongoing AFCON U20 tournament in Egypt.

The players are Centre back Rogers Torach Ochaki and winger Rogers Mugisha.

The honors are deserving as the duo have been outstanding as the Hippos finished top of Group B to storm the Quarterfinals.

Torach who scored one of the two goals against Sudan last year in Zonal Qualifiers for the Hippos to seal a second qualification, has managed to replicate his form in Egypt.

The Vipers defender has started all Uganda Hippos games and defended brilliantly with game good reading and aerial prowess.

Mugisha on the other hand, who features for UPDF, has been a joy to watch thanks to his pace and trickery, shining brightest in a team that has buzzing stars like Travis Mutyaba, Isma Mugulusi and Titus Ssematimba.

Jackson Mayanja will be hoping that his players can show up in the crucial quarterfinal tie against Nigeria on Thursday where the winner will qualify for the FIFA U20 World Cup in Indonesia.
