Uganda Cranes left back Aziz Kayondo has joined Segunda Division Spanish side CD Leganes.
The club has confirmed that the former Vipers defender will play for their B team.
Kayondo left Vipers in April last year to join Czech Republic side MFK Vyskov.
The Club immediately loaned Kayondo to MLS Next Proffessional League side Real Monarchs.
Kayondo joins two other Ugandans at the club – Ibrahim Juma and Allan Enyou, the latter also announced on Monday.
Kayondo featured for Uganda U-20 and U-23 teams, and made his Uganda Cranes debut in the 2022 World Cup Qualifier against Rwanda.
He was named one of three finalists for the 2021 Airtel-Fufa Awards Men’s Player of the Year.
Kayondo was also named in the Best XI for the 2020 U-20 AFCON team after leading the Hippos to the finals of the tournament.
