Uganda Premier League secretariat has confirmed postponement of Match-week 18 tie between Arua Hill and Vipers.
The two sides were set to clash this Wednesday on March 1 2023 at Barifa in Arua.
It is said that the game has been moved to give Vipers more time to prepare for CAF Champions League.
A league official has commented on a certain platform saying that early travel and Arua journey would “fatigue” the Vipers players.
But it’s strong to note that there is a week-long period between the initial dates for Arua and Simba SC game.
Vipers play Simba in Tanzania next Tuesday, March 7 2023.
Earlier, the Venoms also had their Match-week 16 fixture against Bright Stars postponed due to CAF Champions League engagements.
Vipers who are third on the league table with 28 points, sit bottom of their CAF Champions League group with just a point in three games.
They visit Simba on the back of a 1-0 loss against the same side following a dull show on Saturday under Kitende floodlights.
