•URA FC 1-0 Express FC
URA FC extended Express FC’s poor run with a 1-0 victory in a league game played at Nakisunga Ssaza Ground.
Nicholas Kabonge’s goal proved the difference as URA picked their fourth win of the season.
It was a well orchestrated goal built by Saidi Kyeyune who beat his markers to find Sande Andabati whose assist beat Express goalkeeper for Kabonge to poke into an unguarded net in the 66th minute.
Express could have escaped with a point but Isma Kawawulo rattled the woodwork.
Substitute Joseph Akandwanaho who came in for Marvin Oshaba twice came close but shot wide.
Hussein Ssenoga also couldn’t find the target when he went for power from a distance
And the loss came at a cost after Express captain Isa Lumu was stretchered off after collision with Alfred Leku
The result leaves Express winless in last nine games, and have only scored twice in last seven games!
It’s the second win for URA from as many games in the second round as the side earlier beat Onduparaka 2-0 in Arua.
This is revenge equally served by the Tax Collectors who lost to Express 1-0, goal by Allan Kayiwa, in the first round.
What Next – URA FC visit BUL on March 4 in Njeru while Express will face bitter rivals SC Villa the following day.
