Shorthanded Silverbacks proved no match for Ivory Coast in a 89-44 loss in the FIBA World Cup Qualifiers in Luanda, Angola.
The team that regrouped for a trip to the tournament on Thursday, trailed the first quarter 31-10 and never recovered.
And this time, stand-in coach Andrew Tendo who has a nine-man squad, rotated around six players only with Fayed Baale, Jimmy Enabu and Rogers Dauna all sitting out due to jersey issues.
Ceaser Kizito (11) and Innocent Ochera (10) scored in double figures for the Silverbacks who were the second best throughout.
Sire Dieng shot lights out, firing 7-for-13 from three to tally a game high 23 points.
Jean Phillips Dally (17) and Moussa Kone (12) also contributed immensely to the victory.
Ivory Coast came into this third round having earlier qualified for the World Cup in Indonesia.
The Silverbacks on the other hand, went to Angola will nothing at stake having lost their three games in the second round.
Elsewhere, Angola beat Cape Verde to qualify for the FIBA World Cup. Egypt, South Sudan and Ivory Coast also qualified recently.
