KOBs beat Pirates 30-25 in a closely contested league affair at Kings Park in Bweyogerere.
The defeat is the first for Pirates this season in the Rugby Premier League, ending the side’s impressive start recorded six wins in as many games.
KOBs scored Four tries through Adrian Kasito, Karim Arinaitwe, Pius Ogena and Ian Munyani, while the former added the extras.
Pirates had got off to a good start when Alex Aturinda crossed the line for the game’s first Try before Ivan Magomu converted.
And the score was 10-00 after KOBs were penalised for Magomu to score a penalty.
But KOBs who saw Josiah Sempeke fluff his penalty, got off the mark through Kasito.
Aturinda scored his Try, and later Desire Ayera had his as it remained a tight contest.
It was 25-all with James Ijongat and Magomu scoring a penalty at each end before Munyani scored what proved to be the winner in an end to end contest.
The Victory tied KOBs and Pirates to 30 each at the summit.
