*Maroons 0-0 Bright Stars
*SC Villa 2-1 Onduparaka
*KCCA 3-2 Arua Hill
Maroons and Bright Stars settled for a point following a barren draw in their UPL match played at Luzira Prison grounds.
This was the same result recorded in their first round meeting at Kavumba.
And this marked a return for Bright Stars coach Asaph Mwebaze to Luzira, where he spent 11 years with Maroons.
And a point saw Maroons move one place to 9th on 19 points while Bright Star remained static in 8th with 21 points.
It was a sloppy opening half as both sides failed to make even a single shot on target.
The second stanza was no different, despite hosts enjoying the highest ball possession.
They pressed the visitors at every opportunity but Andrew Kyambadde and Warren Buule’s defence proved too solid.
Both coaches utilized their substitutions but there was little they could change as both sides continued to lack creativity.
Maroons will visit Wakiso Giants next Friday while Bright Stars will host Blacks Power on the same day.
