*Al Ahly 1-4 Real Madrid
Egyptian side Al Ahly lost 4-1 to Real Madrid in the semifinals of the FIFA Club World Cup in Morocco.
Vinicius Junior, Federico Valverde, Rodrygo and Sergio Arribas scored for the UEFA champions.
Ali Malaloul, at 2-0, halved the deficit from the spot after Hussein Elshahat was brought down into the area by Eduardo Camavinga.
But Carlo Ancelloti’s side got the job done to set up a final with Asian giants Al Hilal who beat Flamengo.
And Al Ahly will be seeking for a bronze medal when they meet Flamengo (Brazil) in Saturday’s losers match at the Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium.

Al Ahly had defended well and it took the quality of Madrid to break the deadlock before halftime when Vinicius was picked by Rodrygo to dink over goalkeeper Mohammed El Shenawy.
Valverde showed composure in the area to slot home the second after Rodrygo’s initial effort was kept out.
And after Al Ahly had halved the deficit, Madrid rose again with two late goals despite Luka Modric missing from the spot.
Rodrygo chipped the goalkeeper to make it 3-1 before youngster Sergio Arribas put the icing on the cake.
