West Nile based side Onduparaka FC have added eight new signings in the just concluded January transfer window, this website can reliably confirm.
It has been understood that these new signings, who have been training with the club will be unveiled on wednesday as Onduparaka host LIA FC in a friendly.
Among the new faces at Onduparaka is veteran Striker Tonny Odur.
Odur returns to active football ever since leaving regional side Katwe United in 2021, a side he had joined in 2020.
And he brings in a lot of experience to Onduparaka’s striking force that struggled for goals in the first round of the Uganda Premier league season.
The journey man has previously featured for top sides in KCCA FC, Vipers, Express FC way back, when he was on his peak.
Stylish midfielder Bida Ezra is the other new player at Onduparaka and he joins from South Sudan Premier League entity Atlabara FC.
The other new signings include Gama William from Malakia, Mandela Aziz Malish, Hood Kakooza, Faruku Samari, Nyainga Stephen and Okello Anthony Mathias.
In the just concluded transfer market, the club also lost a couple of players including their Captain goalkeeper Mathias Muwanga who left the West Nile based club.
After the end of the first round, the Caterpillars finished rock bottom of the log on 7 points after 14 games.
And Odur, together with his new colleagues will be expected to lift the Steven Bogere coached side as they seek to revive their season.
