Vipers SC have confirmed their 18-man travelling squad ahead of their CAF Champions League Group C stage opener with Raja Casablanca on Friday at the Complexe Mohammed V in Morocco.
The Venoms confirmed that they will depart Entebbe International Airport in the wee hours of Wednesday morning aboard Turkish Airlines, have a stopover in Istanbul, Turkey before departing for Casablanca.
But in the travelling team, there is no new Signing Karim Ndugwa.
It has been confirmed that the forward is cap-tied having featured for Bul FC in the CAF Confederations Cup recently last year.
But the good news is that the hitman Yunus Sentamu, who suffered a groin injury two months back has travelled with team.
Defender Livingstone Mulondo, who has also been out for a while has also made the final cut.
New signings Robert Serge Mwenge, Martin Kizza, Israel Desire Tety are all on the team.
Two players in Marvin Joseph Youngman and Najib Yiga have not made the cut as they are still recovering from their respective injuries.
Vipers, under new coach Spanish coach Beto Bianchi will be seeking for a strong start in their CAF Champions League opener this Friday.
They are pitted in group C alongside Raja Casablanca, Simba SC and Horoya Athletic Club.
