*KJT vs KCCA – Bugolobi Coffee Grounds
*Uganda Pentecostal University vs URA FC – St. Leo’s Lower, Kabarole
Defender Peter Magambo is set to make his season debut as KCCA visit Kampala Region side KJT in the Round of 64 of the Stanbic Uganda Cup on Monday at Coffee Grounds in Bugolobi.
Magambo missed the whole of first round of the UPL with a knee injury sustained during pre-season.
The Visitors also welcome Rogers Mato, Moses Waiswa and Geoffrey Wasswa back from CHAN with the Uganda Cranes.
But the Club will be without the young trio of Faisal Wabyoona, Saidi Mayanja and Haruna Lukwago who are part of the Uganda U20 side preparing for AFCON U20.
Julius Poloto (muscle injury), Ashraf Mugume (illness) and John Revita (knee injury) are ruled out.
“Our objective has never changed. We want to win the Uganda Premier League or the Uganda Cup and that has always been our target every season,” said Coach Morley Byekwaso.
“We are not taking JKT lightly. We respect our opponents and we shall field the most competitive players against them. We believe if we do the right things and stick to our principles that we shall progress to the next round.”
Byekwaso will fancy a deep run into the competition, having been knocked out by Bright Stars at the round of 32 last season.
