Kampala Queens will be eager to collect maximum points when they take on Asubo Gafford in their first game of the second round.

The Queens of soccer enjoyed a good start in this edition’s FUFA Women Super league as they finished top of the log in the first round, winning all their nine games.

To add on that, they are yet to lose a game in their last 26 games, winning 20 and drawn six in all competitions.

And on Sunday, they will be seeking to extend that good run and as well maintain their leadership at the top.

Speaking ahead of the game, head coach Hamza Lutalo said.

“We are well prepared . We have been working hard during this break, had three friendlies. We want to start from where we stopped so that we can go on and win the league,” he told the pressmen on Friday.

On Sunday against Asubo, they face a side that has struggled since the start as they sit rock bottom on the log.

And Kampala Queens will bank on their depth in squad to get the job done on Sunday.

The front three of Rest Nanziri, Zainah Nandede and Margret Kunihira, who were shinning stars in the first round will be tasked to carry the team forward.

Meanwhile, the hosts, Asubo Gafford will be seeking for a strong start as well if they are to save their season.

It was a poor start for Asubo, who only managed one win out of the nine games in the first round and are currently rock bottom on the table.

And in Kampala Queens, they face a side that welcomed them in the league with a 5-0 defeat and a big task awaits them if they are to pick a positive result at home on Sunday.
