Defending Champions Cameroon have learnt their fate after the draw of the 2023 AFCON U17 was conducted.
The tournament returns for the first time since 2019 after a three-year hiatus due to Covid-19.
Cameroon won the tournament back in 2019 held in Tanzania.
Cameroon, who also won the title in 2003, have been drawn against fellow double-champions in Mali.
The 2011 champions Burkina Faso and debutants South Sudan complete a tricky Group C.
Cameroon, whose camp was rocked with age-cheating claims during qualifiers, beat Central Africa Republic and Congo to sail through the qualifications.
The tournament will take place from April 29 to May 19 in Algeria.
The matches will take place in the cities of Annaba, Algiers and Constantine and will feature footballers born on or after January 1st, 2006.
Three stadiums have been chosen to host the competition are the Nelson Mandela Stadium in Algiers, the Chahid Hamlaoui Stadium in Constantine and the May 19, 1956 Stadium in Annaba.
The four semi-finalists of the U17 AFCON will qualify for the World Cup to be played later in the year.
