Uganda premier League side Wakiso Giants have officially unveiled former Vipers right back Paul Willa.
Willa joins the Purple Sharks on a short term deal and his official unveiling was made official on Wednesday.
He joins the side as a free agent ever since leaving Vipers last year in August.
While at Vipers where he had spent three years, Willa won two league titles and one Uganda Cup and was an assistant Captain by the time he left the Kitende based club.
At Wakiso Giants, he will be competing for a starting place with Grant Matsiko who plays at the right back.
Willa’s arrival will also boost the Sharks defense that will most likely be without the pairing of Ronald Madoi and Apollo Kagogwe who could be away for some time with the national U-20 in Egypt for the AFCON U20.
In the just concluded transfer market, Wakiso Giants also confirmed the acquisition a 24-year old centre forward Ramathan Ogen from Nsambya and also promoted winger Jerome Wamusi to the senior team.
For midfielder Lincoln Mukisa, who missed the first part of the season after having issues with his transfer from Police is also set to get licensed for the remainder of the season.
