Fufa Big League side Kitara FC have officially unveiled defender Farouk Katongole.
Katongole joins the Royals on a six months deal and his official unveiling was made official on Monday.
“🚨 WELCOME HOME✌️Farouk Katongole joins us on a six month contract from Express FC., Reads a statement from Kitara.
Katongole joins Kitara from Uganda premier League side Express , a side he joined last year in August at the start of the season.
But at Express, he has been limited due to injuries, stiff competition and thus looking for more game time elsewhere
Previously before his new move, Katongole featured for URA FC, Tooro United FC and Bright Stars..
At Kitara, he is the third signing after Paul Mucureezi , George Ssenkaba and Godfrey Lwesibawa who recently joined the hoima based club.
Earlier on at the start of last week, the club suspended head coach Mark Twinamatsiko and strong reports are linking Sam Simbwa to take over at Kitara.
After the end of the first round, Kitara are currently leading the race in the Big League and the addition of an experienced Katongole will be a big boost in their bid for top flight football next season.
