Left-back Mustafa Kizza featured for KCCAFC as they picked a 3-1 win against Bright Stars in a friendly game held at Lugogo on Thursday.

Goals from Kayanja Brian, Peter Magambo and Simon Kankonde gave KCCA FC a deserved win while Sam Ssenyonjo (penalty) scored for the Stars on the other end.

Kizza, who parted ways with Portugese side Arouca FC last year in december is reported to have rejoined KCCA FC in the transfer window.

It is said that ever since his return home, the left back has been training with the Lugogo based side and that a deal was reached upon together with the player to rejoin the side.

Back then in his old days under then head coach Mike Mutebi, Kizza, who is a KCCA FC graduate was a shinning star as he won titles at home and featured even on the continent level.

And his return will be a big boost to the Morley Byekwaso coached side that has not won any title in recent times.

Before his move to Portugal last year in July, Kizza was at MLS side CD Montreal, a side he had joined in 2020 from KCCA FC before his contract was terminated at the start of last year.

After the end of the first round, KCCA FC finished top and they will be seeking to strengthen their squad with more key players.
