Senegal’s path, if they can overcome Mauritania, has Madagascar/Mozambique.

The semis will be played on January 31 while the final will be held on February 4 2023 at the Nelson Mandela Stadium in Algiers.

At this knockout stage, extra time and penalty shoot-outs will be used to decide the winners in case of a draw.

This year, a new winner of the CHAN will be crowned as there are no former winners among all the eight quarterfinalists.
