Black Pirates picked a deserved 27-12 win over Rhinos to extend their 100% start in the Rugby Premier League.

It’s their second win of the season from as many games having beaten defending champions Heathens 24-18 in the opener.

And a five-try performance at Legends on Saturday saw Pirates take the points despite a spirited performance from the hosts.

Alvin Rukundo, Ivan Magomu, Desire Ayera, Timothy Kisiga and Ivan Kabagambe crossed the line for the Visitors while William Nkore added the extras.

Pirates remain second on the table with nine points while it’s the second straight defeat for Rhinos who slip to rock bottom.

Pirates who finished second last season, will hope to continue their early surge when they take on Hippos at Dam Waters in Jinja next weekend.

KOBs remained on top after beating Rams 56-06 at Graveyard in Makerere.

Impis beat newcomers Walukuba to join Pirates and KOBs to remain unbeaten after two games.

Champions Heathens put points on board with a 50-09 win against Buffaloes in a Kyadondo derby.
