CHAN: Can Uganda Cranes Finally Break Knockout-Jinx?

Uganda Cranes are on the verge of reaching the knockout of the African Nations Championship for the first time in history.

The Cranes moved top of Group B after a deserved 1-0 win over Senegal on Wednesday in Annaba.

Milton Karisa slotted on the only goal of the game while there were good performances across the field including player of the match Kenneth Ssemakuka and goalkeeper Alionzi Nafian.

The URA FC shot-stopper kept the game level earlier on when he saved a penalty before Karisa struck the opener.

The win sent the Cranes top of Group B with four points and will need to avoid defeat in Sunday’s thriller against Ivory Coast.
