Busoga United: Two Goalkeepers Among Six Released

Uganda premier League side Busoga United has released six players, The-SportsNation sources have learnt.

Among the released players include two goalkeepers in Sanon Mulabi and Andrew Ssekandi.

Ssekandi joined in September 2021 from MYDA while Munabi joined BUL after he was released last year by BUL FC.

The other players on the list are captain Derrick Basoga, Striker Dickson Niwamanya, Dan Ssewava and Franco Balabala

For Niwamanya, he is being linked to a move to Arua Hill and reports indicate that he has already agreed personal terms to join the Kongolo side.

This season, Busoga United have struggled since the start to pick up needed results both at home and even away from home.

They are currently second from the bottom with just nine points after 14 games.

And with the second round of the season kick starting in February, Busoga United will need to pick up results if they to avoid relagation this season.
