Shafiq Bakaki Joins Rwandese Club From Gaddafi

Rwanda top tier side Musanze FC has announced the signing of defender Shafiq Bakaki from Uganda premier League side Gaddafi FC.

The new developments were made official on Monday evening via the club’s social media handles.

Bakaki joins the side together with two other new recruits.

“We are delighted to announce the signing of our three players. Shafik Bakaki, Nicholas Ashade Ayonide and Tuyisenge Yasser Arafat, reads a post on the club’s Twitter official account.

Bakaki joins the Rwandan side from Gaddafi, a side he joined last year at the start of the season.

At Musanze, he joins fellow Ugandan, forward Ben Ocen, who has been at the the club for the past seasons ever since joining from Police FC.

Bakaki brings in a lot of experience, having featured for a couple of clubs both here at home and on professional stints.

He previously featured for Vipers SC, Express, Villa and Nkana FC in Zambian super League.

On his arrival, he finds Musanze in the 9th position with 22 points after 15 games in the season.

Musanze will visit Rayon Sports home to another Ugandan Musa Esenu and Bakaki will most likely mark his debut for his new side.
