Antuna New Gazelles Coach, Squad For Zone Five Summoned

Federation of Uganda Basketball Association (FUBA) has unveiled Alberto Antuna as the new head coach of the Women team the Gazelles.

Antuna, the Spanish, joins with experience having worked with Montenegro as the assistant coach.

He was unveiled on Monday morning in a Press Conference at Africana Hotel in Kampala.

He replaces UCU Canons coach Nicholas Natuhereza who will be his assistant while Mavita Ali and Henry Malinga are part of the technical team.

His immediate task will be to guide Uganda at the Zone Five Qualifiers as the side seeks for a ticket to the Afrobasket.

The provisional squad for the Zone Five in Lugogo due February 14-19, has been summoned and will immediately start preparations at Lugogo.
