Godfrey Lwesibawa: Kitara Confirm First signing

FUFA Big league side Kitara FC habe unveiled winger Godfrey Lwesibawa as they first January signing.

Lwesibawa joins the Royals  from Gaddafi Modern FC on a six months working contract with an option to extend his stay and his official unveiling was made on Friday.

Speaking to the club’s media after his unveiling, Lwesibawa said

” I believe this is the right choice and place for me to be, Kitara is an exciting club and I want to pledge my hard work and commitment to them.”

He becomes the first signing for Kitara in this January transfer window as they seek to strengthen their lead at the top.

Before his new move, Lwesibawa was at Uganda premier League side Gaddafi FC, a side he joined last year at the start of the season.

Lwesibawa brings in a lot of experience to Kitara having featured for a couple of clubs.

He won the Uganda Premier League title and Kagame Cup during his time at Express. He also featured for Tooro FC way back before moving to Express.

On his arrival, he finds Kitara on top of the log with 30 points after 14 games and he will be expected to strengthen their attacking force as they seek to return to the top flight League, the Uganda Premier League.
