Tanzanian giants Simba SC have unveiled former Vipers Coach Roberto Oliveira.
The Brazilian gaffer joins Simba about a week after leaving Vipers where he won the league and Uganda Cup.
At Simba, he replaced Zoran Manoljovic who was sacked last year, and the club has been under caretaker coach Juma Mgunda.
Robertinho is expected to reunite with former Vipers Cesar Manzoki.
It’s strong to note that Simba are pitted alongside Vipers in this year’s CAF Championship League.
Raja Casablanca (Morocco) and Horoya (Guinea) are the other teams in the group, for the elite competition that get underway next month.
The gaffer who has signed a two-year contract says that reaching CAF Champions League final is within reach.

“I have always been a player before I became a coach, I always believe in good plans. With good plans you can reach the semifinals until the final is also possible when I’m here at Simba,” said Robertinho as quoted by the Club.
“When I was going to meet TP Mazembe many believed it was our end but we had good plans until we managed to get them out.”
Simba Chairperson Murtaza Mangungu said What attracted us to Robertinho was his quality and experience for East African football so we believe he will get us when we want to.
“Robertinho is a very proficient coach and we have great goals that is why we have taken him, he has a great experience of East African football that has also attracted us,” said Mangungu.
