Vipers Part Ways with Head coach Robertinho

Uganda premier League side Vipers SC have parted ways with Brazilian gaffer Rorbertinho Oliveira.

These new developments were made official on thursday via the club’s official website.

The statement from the club reads

“Vipers Sports Club announces that Mr. Roberto Oliveira alias Robertinho has left his role as the head coach with immediate effect.

The club would like to thank Robertinho for his tireless efforts as the head coach during his time at the club and wish him success in the future.

The Club shall in the shortest time possible come out with a statement on the technical bench leadership following the coach’s departure”

Rorbertinho Joined the Kitende based club in August 2021 replacing then Fred Kajoba on his new role.

He was unveiled alongside his assistant Marcelo Cardoso by that time.

During his term he has won one Uganda cup and one Uganda premier League.

He also helped the Venoms qualify for the CAF champions League group stages their first in the history for the club.

This achievement to help Vipers Qualify to the group stages attracted many suitors, with many clubs from Tanzania yearning for his signature.

And it is believed that Rorbertinho might be heading to one of the top sides in Tanzania.
