Forward Patrick Henry Kaddu continued with his impressive start this season by scoring a brace as his side Kitara picked a deserved 4-1 win over Kyetume in a league game held at Kigaaya play grounds on Thursday.
Kaddu scored in the 20th and 34th minute as his side bagged maximum points while Moses Sseruyide and Edson Agondeze the other goals on the day.
Muzamiru Waiswa scored the only goal from Kyetume as they suffered another defeat on the road.
The win, seventh for Kitara ensured that they bounced back to winning ways. They now moved to the top with now 23 points after Mbarara City, who were leaders before thursday’s game were beaten 2-1 by Luweero United on the same day.
Playing at home in Kigaaya, Kaddu put his side ahead with a nice header in the 20th minute before completing his brace in the 34th minute. He now takes his tally to 12 goals and the current top scorer in the Fufa Big league.

After the break, Kyetume, who were two goals down returned the better side as they tried to stage a come back.
Waiswa had pulled one goal back for the Visitors in the 79th minute to give them hopes of coming back into the game.
But Kitara responded with two quick goals through Sseruyide in the 85th minute before Agondeze sealed a deserved win with the fourth goal moments later.
Victory ensured that Kitara moved back to the top with now 23 points, level on points with second placed NEC FC who edged Booma FC 1-0 away from home.
For Kyetume, they suffered their sixth loss of the season and dropped to the 12th position with 11 points collected from eleven games so far.
