Preview: UPDF Seek Resuscitation
UPDF will be desperate to return to winning ways when they welcome Gaddafi FC in a league game at Bombo.
This is an Armed forces derby and a lot is stake.
The hosts start the day in relegation zone; they sit 13th (third from bottom) with just seven points from 13 games.
Brian Ssenyondo’s side has gone nine games without a win since beating Busoga United 3-2, coincidentally a Jinja team.
During that spell, UPDF have managed to score just two goals and conceded 14.
Against Gaddafi, they face off with a team that sit 11 points above them with a game in hand, and that shows how steep a mountain awaits UPDF.
Wasswa Bbosa’s side come into this one on the back of a 3-1 win over Blacks Power at Kakindu and will be hoping to build on that confidence.
But Gaddafi have lost their last visits this season, falling Wakiso Giants, KCCA and Maroons.
Head to Head
•Gaddafi 1-3 UPDF
•UPDF 2-2 Gaddafi
