Striker Ivan Bogere finally scored his first goal at SC Villa to help the side beat UPDF in a league game on Sunday at Akii-bua Stadium in Lira.

Bogere who came on for Sheiff Batte at the hour-mark, doubled the advantage in the 72nd minute.

Charles Bbale had tapped in an opener in the 28th minute to give the Jogoos a lead before the break.

It’s the third straight win for Jackson Magera’s side who beat Maroons and Blacks Power in the previous games.

The Jogoos move fourth with their eighth win of the season and have collected 23 points in 13 games.

For Brian Ssenyondo’s charges, they remain without a win in 9 straight league games as the side slip to relegation zone with 7 points in 12 games.

What Next – SC Villa visit URA on December 17 in Nakisunga while UPDF welcome Gaddafi on December 14 in Bombo.
