Arsenal Africa Convention: Kasingye Urges Fellow Fans To Attend Event In Kigali

Renowned Arsenal fan Asan Kasingye, a former AIGP, has called out fellow fans to attend the upcoming Arsenal Africa Convention due June 13-18 next year in Kigali, Rwanda.

The activation for the event in Kigali kicked off in Kampala on Friday and Arsenal fans are expected to register at Kati Kati in Lugogo until Sunday, December 11.

The Convention in Rwanda will help Arsenal fans support their cherished Gooners lifestyle, and a lot is lined up for the five-day event.

“Time comes when we need to upgrade from fans to real Arsenal supporters,” Kasingye said. I am excited to be part of this, not only just talking about the club on social media because Football is now business.”

“I want to take this opportunity to call upon all Fans so that they can come here at Kati Kati as we activate for this convention.

“I want to be part of this until the end. And I want Uganda to have the biggest number there, we are nearer and more passionate about Arsenal and we can even walk there on foot. I have a friend who walked to Bushenyi on foot the control road safety, we can walk to Kigali as well if the need arises.

“I have accepted to be part of this program for the Ugandan community, those who wish to go, we shall walk that journey and I want to assure you that everything is going to be real and genuine.”

The activation is done by RG consult inc in partnership with Panda Soccer Africa of Kenya, Fuse Soccer of London and other stakeholders collectively operating under a mandate from Visit Rwanda.

Attendees will be supported by the activation team to register for free on the AAC 2023 portal in order to start the process of booking to attend the event in Kigali.

RG CEO Remmy Lubega said that one of the key elements of the convention is the Arsenal Academy camp, a tailored training program lasting five days targeting youths from all over Africa for them to start the process of training using the Arsenal way to be turned into professional players.
