Preview: URA Fancy Chances Against Blacks Power

URA FC will be eager to collect maximum points when they welcome Blacks Power at Nakisunga Ssaza grounds on Friday.

It’s been a low start for Sam Timbe’s men as they have struggled to keep the winning touch.

Two wins, five draws plus three losses and just 11 points from 10 games sums up how poor URA have been this season.

They come into Friday’s game having dropped points Maroons, as Fred Amaku levelled matters in the dying minutes of the game.

And their last home game at Nakisunga was a 1-0 loss to Vipers, one that subjected them to their third defeat of the season.

Ahead of Friday’s game, head coach Sam Timbe revealed that it’s an important game and they can’t afford to slip anymore.

“We have prepared very well. This is an important game because right now where we are heading is relegation and that can’t be URA’s standards, so we need to wake up, he told the club’s media on Thursday.

In Blacks Power, they face a more rejuvenated side that has picked up back to back wins.

But given their position (10th), Timbe will task his men to stage a better performance so as to kick start the new month in style.

Meanwhile the Visitors, Blacks Power, will be seeking to extended their good run they have enjoyed in their previous two games.

Since the arrival of head coach Hussein Mbalangu, things have turned around as they are now out of the red zone. They are in the 12th position with 8 points and have picked two wins just as their opponents URA.

They come into this game having picked back to back wins with each coming against Maroons and a 1-0 win against UPDF at home recently.

Against URA, they will be seeking for a third consecutive win as they target moving up the table.

In URA, they face a side that has also struggled and they will bank on that if they are to pick a needed result away from home.
