BUL snapped Wakiso Giants’ nine matches unbeaten streak following a 2-1 win in a UPL match played at FUFA Technical Centre, Njeru.
With all goals coming in second half, defender Walter Ochora broke the deadlock with a beautiful header to put the hosts up front.
Moses Aliro drew the Visitors level with another header but substitute Vicent Zziwa won it late for BUL to keep them in touch with table leaders.
As a result, Wakiso Giants slip to second, following KCCA’s win over Onduparaka.
BUL remains in fourth place with 20 points, but just two points adrift of table leaders KCCA.
The opener came through a corner kick which was swung in by Zziwa for Ochara to flick it past goalkeeper Samson Kirya.
Wakiso’s first chance of the second half landed to substitute Moses Aliro in the 70th minute but goalkeeper Emmanuel Kalyowa proved equal to the task when he parried his efforts away.
Seven minutes later, Wakiso leveled matters when Arinda met Aliro’s corner kick to send it straight into the net.
With seven minutes to play, substitute Zziwa who replaced injured Ibrahim Mugulusi in first half, netted what proved to be a winner.
BUL will on Tuesday 6, visit Arua Hill in their next fixture while Wakiso Giants will host Busoga United on next Friday.
