FUFA Big league side NEC FC will be seeking to return to winning ways when they host Adjumani TC FC at Coffee grounds in Bugolobi on Thursday.

The Bugolobi based side suffered a 1-0 loss to Soroti City away from home last week on Thursday.

That loss was their second in the season and it also dented their chances of closing the gap at the top and they are currently third with 13 points after seven games.

Back at home in Bugolobi, they will have eyes on more maximum points to keep in the race.

Against Adjumani TC, they welcome a side that has had a low start as they have collected only 8 points in their opening seven games.

On Thursday, NEC welcome back midfielder Oscar Sulaiman Ssesazi, who missed their previous game against Soroti City.

A win on thursday will see NEC move to 16 points and they will be one point below leaders Kitara, who drew goalless against Police FC on Wednesday at Kavumba.

Meanwhile, the visitors Adjumani will be targeting back to back wins when they take a visit to Bugolobi.

The Adjumani based club come into this encounter having picked a 2-1 over Lugazi FC in the previous game at home.

They are currently sitted in the 11th position with 8 points, collected from 7 games.

In NEC, they face a side that is hungry to bounce back with maximum points at home and a big test awaits them on thursday.
