Ghana gave themselves a chance to reach the knockout after a hard fought victory over South Korea on Monday to keep their World Cup hopes alive.
Mohammed Salisu and Mohammed Kudus put Ghana in an early 2-0 lead before Korea staged a come back to level the game through Cho Gue-sung headers.
But Kudus fired in low shot into the bottom corner before holding on to pick maximum points.
Ghana who lost to Portugal in the opener, need to avoid defeat against Uruguay on Friday to reach the last 16.
In the earlier game, Cameroon fought back to draw with Serbia in a six-goal thriller.
Cameroon kept their hopes of reaching the World Cup last 16 alive as they battled back from two goals down to draw a six-goal thriller with Serbia in Group G.
Cameroon who led through Jean-Charles Castelletto weree pegged back when Strahinja Pavlovic, Sergej Milinkovic-Savic and Aleksandar Mitrovic gave Serbia a 3-1 lead.
But the Indomitable Lions found their way back through Vincent Aboubakar who worked a composed lob before Maxim Choupo-Moting found the equaliser.
Just before kickoff, coach Rigobert Song left out first choice goalkeeper Andre Onana due to disciplinary issues.
Cameroon have one point having lost the opener against Switzerland and will need a miracle against Brazil in their last group game to storm the last 16.
