Preview: KCCA Target Gaddafi Scalp

KCCA FC welcome Gaddafi at Lugogo in the Uganda Premier league match with the target of picking maximum points to maintain a perfect home run.

The Kasasiro Boys are yet to lose a game at home despite playing out a goalless draw with URA FC in their last home game.

They come into the Gaddafi game with a huge away victory, 3-0, picked up against SC Villa as they managed to bounce back to winning ways.

KCCA FC head coach Morley Byekwaso remains positive of picking maximum points against Gaddafi at home.

“We play Gaddafi who have a good coach and experienced players who are stubborn and resilient but we have to use every opportunity to collect maximum points as we are hosting them at home,” said Byekwaso.

“The most important thing is to believe in ourselves as we have been doing and things will be fine to us.”

Speaking about their performances against Gaddafi as both sides have met just twice with each side winning once, Byekwaso has turned full focus on the forthcoming game:

“I don’t think history works a lot in modern football because we have won them once and they too have won against us but we shall put that aside and focus on the game which we have to win as we are at home.”

Gaddafi has been a stubborn side with a couple of brilliant performances as they have managed to win three games in their last five league games with only table leaders Wakiso Giants managing a 2-0 win against the Soldier Boys.

They managed to bounce back to winning ways with a 2-0 home win against Arua Hill but they come into the KCCA FC game with their head coach Wasswa Bbosa suspended from the touchline.

Gaddafi FC have managed to score eight goals from the 8 games played which has seen them sit eighth on the log with 12 points.

KCCA FC currently occupy fourth position on the table with 16 points from eight games played but they command.

Gaddafi FC have struggled picking points away from hom with their only win coming against Busoga United
