Arua Hill Bounce Back To Compound Onduparaka Misery

Arua Hill came from a goal down to beat rivals Onduparaka in West Nile derby played at Barifa in Arua.

Amos Muwonge put Onduparaka in an early lead when he slotted in just after 15 minutes after he was set up by Rashid Yakin.

But Reagan Mpande headed home the equaliser off a good delivery from Rashid Toha just after the hour mark.

Mpande completed his brace with a winner with just seven minutes to spare after a good assist from Rashid Kawawa.

Action at Barifa

The victory snaps Arua Hill’s poor run that had seen the Kongolo lose four games on the bounce.

Livingston Mbabazi’s side move to seventh place with 13 points after recording their fourth win of the season.

But Onduparaka are yet to win a game so far, with four draws and five losses. They have two points to their name having started the season with a two-point penalty.

Arua Hill visit Express on December while Onduparaka welcome KCCA at Bombo on the same day.
